Blue Mara

My first vernissage (2019) featured the big love of my life: Kenya Wildlife. I have visited Masai Mara many times and have always stayed at Basecamp Explorer.

It is close to heaven to wake up at 6am in the tent while it is still pitch dark, driving out to the bush, never knowing what to expect and always seing more than you thought possible. The elegant elephant, the curious zebra, the lion king. And the best of all is the calmness of the savannah, the endless plains, the amazing beauty.

Helle, the owner of Mitt Rammeverksted in Briskeby, Oslo, worked with me to arrange a vernissage at her place. Ole at Copycat and my son Jakob were true partners in creating the prints and with over 70 guests and an afterparty to remember, I can promise that this will not be my last vernissage.
